Brad Shalit Speaks on the "Top Five Estate Planning Techniques You Should Be Telling Your Clients Now"

ROSELAND, N.J./December 16, 2010 -- Connell Foley partner Brad D. Shalit  was the sole presenter at the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) Education Foundation program held on December 15, 2010 at the Holiday Inn at the International Trade Center in Mt. Olive, New Jersey.

The seminar focused on providing certified public accountants with some of the top gift tax, estate tax, and asset protection techniques and pitfalls in modern advanced estate planning under state and federal law. Shalit discussed the numerous foundational and complex planning structures that should be implemented for clients with varying levels of assets.

Shalit is a member of the firm's Taxation and Estate Planning group and limits his practice to tax planning for individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, IRS controversies, estates, and trusts, with particular emphasis on estate planning and asset protection planning.

Shalit lectures extensively on estate planning, asset protection and related tax matters. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the United States Tax Court.
