ROSELAND, N.J./March 26, 2008 -- Jodi Anne Hudson, counsel, and Owen C. McCarthy, associate, were recently designated Certified Civil Trial Lawyers by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. The designation was awarded to the pair based upon their experience, education, knowledge, and skill in civil trial law. In addition, each had to pass a written examination and be recognized by their peers as having sufficient skills and reputation in the area of civil trial law.
The certification process was established by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in 1980 for the purpose of helping consumers find attorneys with a recognized level of competence in their particular area of law.
“We are very proud of Ms. Hudson and Mr. McCarthy on having been designated Certified Civil Trial Lawyers. The certification process is rigorous and only the most knowledgeable and skilled lawyers can achieve this designation,” said Richard J. Badolato, a partner with Connell Foley’s Insurance Defense and Product Liability and Tort Law practice groups. “This is a wonderful achievement and it is indicative of these two lawyers’ commitment to continuing education and keeping abreast of all the latest legal developments in the State.”
