McCarthy will speak at the NJBIA program titled “Taking Charge of Your Workers’ Compensation Costs,” which will be held on January 22, 2016 at the Holiday Inn at Clark Circle - Clark, NJ. As part of the program, Mr. McCarthy will present on “Who’s an Employee for Workers’ Compensation Purposes in New Jersey.”

Owen C. McCarthy is an experienced litigator whose diverse practice includes tort litigation, insurance defense, insurance coverage and commercial litigation. He has successfully litigated multiple complex disputes on behalf of private corporations. Mr. McCarthy has tried more than 50 cases to verdict throughout New Jersey and taken numerous appellate cases to successful conclusion. He is designated by the Board of Trial Certification of the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, and was recently nominated to the New Jersey State Bar Association Civil Trial Bar Section Executive Committee.
