Partner Richard J. Badolato Selected as 2005 Professional Lawyer of the Year by the New Jersey State Bar Association

Richard J. Badolato, partner in the firm's Litigation practice group, was selected as the 2005 Professional Lawyer of the Year by the New Jersey State Bar Association. The award was presented at the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law's annual "Professional Awards Luncheon," which took place October 6, 2005 in New Brunswick.

The Professional Lawyer of the Year Award is presented to lawyers designated by Bar Associations from across the state who are respected by colleagues for their character, competence, and exemplary professional behavior.

Mr. Badolato is Chair of the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law, and is past President of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He currently serves as Treasurer of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.

The New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law is a cooperative initiative of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the state and federal judiciary, and New Jersey's three law schools. Its goal is to promote professional competence and responsibility within the bar and the bench, through educational programs and other efforts.
