Karen Painter Randall, chair of Connell Foley's Cyber Security and Data Privacy Group, was recently appointed to the Security & Privacy Committee of the New York State Chapter of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Of note, Ms. Randall will serve on the Legal/Regulatory subcommittee and will work with the organization to identify the various challenges in the healthcare privacy and security arena and assist in delivering new ideas, solutions and technologies as they concern the profession.
