Randall Presents on Data Security Risk Assessments for Annual ABA Legal Malpractice Conference

Karen Painter Randall, chair of Connell Foley’s Cyber Security and Data Privacy Group, is presenting at the ABA’s Spring 2017 National Legal Malpractice Conference, which takes place April 19-21 in Boston, MA.  Ms. Randall will moderate a discussion on “Data Security Risk Assessments: The Gold of Due Diligence.” She will be joined by panelists Dennis J. Quinn (Partner, Carr Maloney PC, Washington, DC), Judy Selby (Consulting Managing Director, BDO USA LLP, Stamford, CT) and Richard Sheinis (Partner, Hall Booth Smith, PC, Atlanta, GA). 

Ms. Randall serves on the ABA Standing Committee for Lawyers’ Professional Liability.  Members of the Committee, who are appointed by the American Bar Association President, are considered a “leading resource for lawyers” and are charged with planning and producing the National Legal Malpractice Conference twice a year.
