In the article, Karen notes it has taken a while for key stakeholders at law firms to realize that cyber is one of today’s leading business risks. She explains how many in the legal industry assumed that large law firms were the main focus for cyberattacks, when smaller and midsize firms are often the primary target.
Karen provides counsel to organizations of all sizes on proactive measures to help identify, protect, detect, respond and recover from cyberattacks, with a focus on insider threats, ransomware and business email compromise. Karen’s clients span multiple industries, from financial services, to healthcare, public entities, education, transportation and retail, as well as lawyers and other licensed professionals.
