Mitchell Taraschi, Co-chair of Connell Foley’s Construction Law Group and associate Lauren Iannaccone recently co-authored the article "Combating Onerous Pre-Qualification Requirements That Restrict Public Bidding."
The article, published April 25, 2022 in the New Jersey Law Journal (NJLJ), examines the New Jersey local and state entities draft bid specifications that prospective bidders must comply with. Such specifications can narrow the pool of eligible bidders and undercut the fundamental-fairness policy inherent in the law.
