Overview

Erica Agbokou’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters, often with multiple defendants. She regularly addresses issues related to insurance defense, labor law, construction litigation, premises liability, commercial litigation, intellectual property, and general negligence.

As a former law school faculty fellow and New Jersey Superior Court Judicial Law Clerk, Erica has significant experience in motion practice, negotiations, and legal research-and-writing experience.

Prior to joining Connell Foley LLP, Erica worked in insurance defense on matters related to medical malpractice and cases involving entities such as the MTA Bus Company and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Erica received her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law. While at SLU Law Erica was a Dean’s Scholar and earned her Certificate in International and Comparative Law. She served as the Communications Editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal, Vice President of the International Law Students Association, and twice as an SLU Law Faculty Fellow—a position that facilitated her intimate acquaintance with issues related to B Corps, securities regulation, corporate due diligence, and international and comparative law.
