Overview

Joni practices in the areas of government affairs, municipal law, regulatory affairs, and land use. She counsels several water and sewer utilities throughout New Jersey and other public entities and agencies, advising on all areas of the law and compliance with local, state, and federal statutes and regulations.

Joni has served as Assistant Attorney for Morristown Township, assisting in contracting, litigation, transactional work, and legal advice to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board. She has represented the Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority and currently represents the Joint Meeting of Essex and Union counties in all aspects of operation – contracting, litigation, and transactional work.

Joni has represented the Government Records Council on matters involving the appeal of Denial of Access Complaints to the Appellate Division, as needed representation in Superior Court and counsel on other Open Public Records Act issues.

Joni's experience and knowledge have allowed her to efficiently and effectively represent various clients, including public bodies, quasi-public agencies, and private entities.
