Overview

Katelyn Callahan is an associate in Connell Foley LLP's Insurance Defense, Product Liability and Tort Law, and Construction Groups. She practices in the areas of construction-related litigation, including New York Labor Law, construction defects, property damage, premises liability, and general negligence. This representation includes defending owners/developers, lessors/lessees, telecommunication carriers, general contractors, and subcontractors. In addition, Katelyn defends clients in transportation, trucking, and automobile matters in a variety of industries involving personal injury, fatality, property damage, product liability, and commercial litigation.

An experienced litigator, Katelyn previously practiced in the public sector as an assistant district attorney for the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. Her background includes managing a caseload of over 200 matters, as well as extensive daily courtroom experience and presenting cases to grand juries.

While in law school, Katelyn was a legal research assistant at the New Jersey Reentry Corporation. She also was a student attorney at the Criminal Justice Clinic and interned at the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. She served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Joseph G. Monaghan, Bergen County Superior Court, Hackensack, NJ.
