Overview
Lucas Arciszewski, an associate in Connell Foley LLP’s Taxation and Estate Planning Group, assists clients in the areas of income taxation and estate planning.
While obtaining his LL.M., Lucas was a law clerk at an Am Law 100 firm, conducting research on a wide range of international tax matters, including the Anti-Injunction Act, U.S. Virgin Islands tax residency and constructive receipt.
Between earning his LL.M. and J.D., Lucas was a judicial law clerk for the Court of Common Pleas of Mercer County, Pennsylvania, providing legal research and analysis on a variety of civil and criminal disputes. As the judicial law clerk for the President Judge, he was also responsible for auditing guardianship reports of estates of incapacitated persons.
In the course of obtaining his J.D., Lucas was a law clerk at a Baltimore City law firm where he provided legal research and analysis on a variety of civil disputes, including will contests and disputes among trust beneficiaries. In addition, he was a law clerk at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia in the Civil Litigation Division and a judicial intern for the Hon. Maria McLaughlin of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
