On Tuesday, January 30th, Connell Foley partner Michael Shadiack, will be presenting a CLE program titled, "Social Media Ramifications in the Workplace." The 90-minute seminar will highlight legal pitfalls relative to the use of social media by employers and their employees. Through the use of practical examples and recommended guidelines, we will explore best practices for the use of social media in the workplace, including when conducting background checks, hiring best practices, protecting confidential business information, respect in the workplace, avoiding workplace harassment, ensuring compliance with employees’ rights to engage in protected concerted activity, and more.
The program will start at 5:30 PM in conference rooms 1D & 1E. There will be light refreshments served beginning at 5:15 PM.
