Mitchell Taraschi, Partner, and William McGloin, Partner, will be presenting a CLE program titled, "The Internet of Things: Its Interplay with Traditional Product Liability Laws and Other Laws/Regulations." The 60-minute seminar will be held beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Conference Rooms 1D and 1E. 

This presentation will address how the Internet of Things (“IoT”) has impacted product liability law and its interplay with other laws.  Specifically, it will discuss the rise of IoT in various forms in a wide variety of products, including products marketed for children.  It will address its impact on traditional product liability laws as well as its interplay with other laws/regulations, including the FTC and Children’s On-Line Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). 

CLE Credits:

-  New York CLE (Reciprocal) 1 PP - Transitional (This course is intended for experienced       attorneys and newly admitted attorneys)
-  Pennsylvania CLE 1 Substantive
