The 90-minute seminar will be held beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Building's Training Room (56 Livingston Avenue).

The course will address legal and technical aspects of environmental investigation and cleanup of groundwater, soil and sediment as applicable to commercial, industrial and residential properties in New Jersey.  It will present information on the Licensed Site Remediation Professional program, which was created by the New Jersey Site Remediation Reform Act of 2009.  With limited exceptions, all environmental investigation and remediation must by law be supervised by a LSRP who is retained by a private party and has authority to approve cleanups on behalf of the State.  Topics will include environmental due diligence, innocent owner protection, underground storage tanks, reporting obligations, deed notices, historic fill, financial assurance posting requirements, and lender financing requirements.
