Bryan Couch, Chair of Connell Foley LLP’s Franchise and Distribution Group, will deliver a presentation at the International Franchise Association’s 2024 Legal Symposium in Washington D.C. on Monday, May 6.

Titled “Brand-emonium!”, Bryan’s presentation will address how new brands impact existing brands under the same parent company. He and his co-presenters will also discuss the agreements relevant to these branding situations.

IFA’s Legal Symposium is designed by a task force of member volunteers with a particular emphasis on how legal and regulatory issues affect the everyday business operations of the franchise system. The program provides value and real-world solutions to both business executives and their franchise legal partners.

Participants will be eligible to receive Continuing Legal Education Credits (CLEs) in many states, as well as up to 11.5 IFA Live Education CFE credits.

One class being offered at the symposium will be eligible for ethics credits: Use of Artificial Intelligence in Franchising and Associated Legal Issues: Avoiding Ethical Minefields.
