George Garcia Joins Panel Discussion on the Legalization of Cannabis in New Jersey

George Garcia, a partner in Connell Foley's Cannabis and Real Estate and Land Use Groups, is a panelist on the "Cannabis Legalization in New Jersey" panel discussion at the first annual Cannabis Business Summit hosted by Hudson County Chamber of Commerce on May 22, 2019 at NJCU School of Business. George joins moderator Jessica F. Gonzalez, Esq. of Moyeno Gonzalez & Associates PC and panelists Bill Caruso, Archer Law; Jamal Holley, Assemblyman, 20th Legislative District; and Alex Lleras, Government Affairs, Weedmaps on the legislative panel, where they will discuss the current Cannabis Adult Use Bill in New Jersey, Senate Bill 2703, which legalizes personal use of cannabis for adults, creates a state Cannabis Regulatory Commission to regulate personal and medicinal cannabis and provides expungement relief for certain past marijuana offenses.
