Patrick J. Hughes, Managing Partner of Connell Foley's Cherry Hill office, and Steve Barnett, a partner in the firm's Environmental Law Group, present "Chemical Industry Contracts During and After a Pandemic," a webinar hosted by the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) on October 1, 2020.

During this webinar, Patrick and Steve will discuss the different types of contracts a typical chemical distributor might encounter, including supply, purchase, toll manufacturing, licensing, R&D, and asset sales. They will also be covering boilerplate provisions, remedies and breach of contract, as well as force majeure or excused non-performance, impracticability, allocation and other provisions that may be applicable during the COVID-19 pandemic.

NACD is an international association of chemical distributors and their supply-chain partners. Member companies process, formulate, blend, re-package, warehouse, transport, and market chemical products for over 750,000 customers. Their goal is to be the premier authority for chemical distribution in the United States, to strive for excellence in its Responsible Distribution Program, to advocate sound government policies, and to promote the continuous improvement of member companies.
