Karen Randall Leads 3rd Annual NJSBA Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Institute

Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group and Chair of the NJSBA Cybersecurity Legal Task Force, serves as conference leader for the the NJSBA's 3rd Annual Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Institute.

This full-day program, presented in connection with NJICLE, is geared to provide attendees with "a better understanding of data security risks, security concerns, the latest regulations – and the top best practices and technologies [attorneys] need to use to stay safe."

As co-leader of the conference with Dr. Robert Spangler, Associate Executive Director of Operations and I.T. at the NJSBA, Karen will moderate the keynote address on Ransomware. She is joined in this discussion by Howard Panensky (Senior Broker - Vice President, FINEX Cyber/Tech/Media/E&O, Willis Towers Watson),  Lauren Johnson (Senior Analyst - Cyber Investigations, Kivu Consulting, Inc.), Brian Conlin (Head of Cyber/Professional Liability Claims, Starr Companies) and Marlee Mukai (Special Agent, Newark Division Cyber Task Force, FBI).
