Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, is a speaker at the Fourth National Institute on Cybersecurity and Data Protection: A Law Firm's Responsibility in Managing Data Risk, which takes place on June 20 at NYU Law. The program, presented by the ABA Section of Litigation and ABACLE, offers several comprehensive sessions covering a law firm's legal, ethical and professional obligations in protecting personal and confidential client information. Karen is joined by Matthew Meade of Eckert Seamans and Lucian Pera of Adams and Reese in a discussion of “Privacy and Data Security Legal and Ethical Obligations for Lawyers.” This panel “explores a law firm’s legal and professional obligations in protecting personal and confidential client information, identifying the ethical considerations that can arise along the way.”
