Daniel Kessler, a partner in Connell Foley's Taxation and Estate Planning Group presents "Basics of International Income Taxation for Individuals and Trusts - Understanding the Big Picture for NRA's and Foreign Non-Grantor Trusts," at the AICPA 2018 Engage Conference on June 14, 2018. Daniel's session will give a broad overview of U.S. international income tax system and its applicability to individuals and trusts, issues relevant to foreign clients who have assets in the U.S. or U.S. donees/beneficiaries, foreign trusts and how they are taxed by the U.S., as well as various other income tax issues with foreign nexus. The topic will also cover U.s. foreign reporting requirements related to individuals and trusts.
