The COVID-19 outbreak threatens to overload all industries and the global economy. Its powerful impact on businesses and individuals also poses a threat to sensitive personal and business information that can be easily stolen through the use of social engineering.

To examine these issues and their impact on businesses, cybersecurity authorities Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, and Molly Arranz, Chair of SmithAmundsen’s Data Privacy, Security and Litigation Group, will present “Pandemic Cybersecurity and Loss Prevention: Finding a New Normal.”

Hosted by USLAW NETWORK as part of their Women’s Connection programming, this virtual roundtable discussion will focus on:

- How threat actors are exploiting  COVID-19 pandemic with new attacks

- What top COVID-19 threats are targeting an organization’s users

- New COVID-19 phishing and malware campaigns, including business email compromise and ransomware

- What you can do to keep your remote and return-to-office workforce safe
