Steve Barnett, a partner in Connell Foley’s Environmental Law Group, will speak at the Association of Airport Executives Northeast (NEC/AAAE) Chapter’s Annual Airports Conference, March 14-16 in Hershey, PA. The three-day conference will provide the latest information on airport programs and policies, and will address topics such as airport planning, design, finance, management, safety, environmental issues and engineering.
Steve and co-presenter Scott Green of First Environment will present “Environmental Risks & Pollution Conditions at Airports: Risk Mitigation & Clean-up of Emerging Contaminants,” which reviews the technical, legal and insurance perspectives of environmental risks associated with 1,4 dioxane & PFAS, associated pollution conditions and regulations. Attendees will learn of these contaminants, sources and how airports can address them.
