Both Mitch and Perri addressed product liability issues relating specifically to children’s products.

Mitch moderated the topic “And Now a Word from the Industry,” which examined the status of the federal preemption of state efforts to ban products or chemicals in products. He was joined in the discussion by Amy Blankenship of Goodbaby International, Mark Johnson of Newell Brands Inc., and Kelly Mariotti of the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association.

Perri spoke during the Children’s Products Group Panel Counsel Meeting and presented on the topic “Proposed Changes and Comments to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).”
