Karen Painter Randall, chair of Connell Foley’s Cyber Security & Data Privacy Group and co-chair of the firm’s Professional Liability Group, is a panelist at the NJBIA Cybersecurity Summit on May 10. The Summit brings together IT professionals, business owners, C-Suite executives and cybersecurity thought leaders to provide businesses with the information needed to help improve resiliency against cyber threats.
Ms. Randall’s panel will focus on “Compliance Strategies for the C-Suite: The Regulatory Landscape for Cybersecurity.” Erez Liebermann, Chief Counsel, Cybersecurity & Privacy of Prudential Financial, will serve as the moderator. Other panelists include Chris Boyer, Assistant Vice President of Global Public Policy at AT&T; Matthew Adams, Partner at Fox Rothschild; and Cindy Cullen, Chief Cyber-Security Strategist, ESP, at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.
The Summit will feature an introduction from Michele Siekerka, President and CEO of New Jersey Business & Industry Association, as well as keynote addresses from Timothy P. Ryan, Managing Director of Kroll Cybersecurity & Investigations, and from James Mottola, Director of Forensic Investigations/Litigation Support at Sobel & Co., LLC.
A second panel will discuss “Practical Security: Best Practices and Technical Solutions for Combating Emerging Cyber Threats.”
