Connell Foley is dedicated to enriching the communities in which we work and live. The firm tirelessly volunteers their time, skills and passion to social service and community organizations. Most recently, a team of women lawyers from Connell Foley led by Patricia Lee and Meghan Musso filed an appeal challenging the denial of a final restraining order after a bench trial along with motions to reinstate the temporary restraints. Under the supervision of Patti and Meghan, Hannah Teller and Yvette Donaldson Brown crafted a well-reasoned brief highlighting the increased risk of harm to victims after separating from their abuser. They continue to advocate for justice and safety for the survivor.
For their exceptional appellate advocacy, the Connell Foley team will receive the Partners in Justice Award from Partners for Women in Justice at the 2023 Spring Event on May 3, 2023.
