This year Connell Foley heads the fundraising efforts for the annual Battle of the Barristers Softball Tournament to support The Greater Newark Fresh Air Fund, a foundation that provides camping experiences for inner-city children from the area. Each year law firms from the area play in a softball tournament to raise money and awareness to help support the Fresh Air Fund. The tournament generates nearly $100,000 yearly and provides 150 kids the opportunity to leave the city streets and spend some summer time in the outdoors.
