Connell Foley was pleased to sponsor the inaugural Barristers Beating Blood Cancer Games, a friendly competition among local law firms to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Employees competed for the Legal Legends Cup, while supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society whose mission it is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
With two competing teams “Connell Foley On a Roley” and “Holey Moley Connell Foley!” the firm was able to raise over $4,000 of the $61,000 raised collectively to fight against blood cancer. Team “Holey Moley Connell Foley!” even snagged the title for best team name.
Barristers Beating Blood Cancer Games is a field day event where companies challenge themselves in several field day competitions to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
