Jennifer Critchley Appointed to Essex County Superior Court

Roseland, New Jersey – June 29, 2022 – Connell Foley LLP is proud to announce that Jennifer Critchley, a partner in the firm's Commercial Litigation Group, has been appointed as a Judge to the Essex County Superior Court.

Jennifer was nominated by Governor Phil Murphy and will be assigned to the Essex Vicinage to be sworn in shortly. “I am very excited to get to work on the bench. I am so thankful for my 20 years at Connell Foley. The firm has trained, mentored and supported me every step of the way.”

Jennifer, who began her career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mark Falk, United States Magistrate Judge of the District of New Jersey, is an experienced litigator in both federal and New Jersey and New York state courts. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey, and is a member of the Essex County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, District of New Jersey Bar Association and New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.

A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, Jennifer received her J.D. in 2002 and her B.A. from Colgate University. She has been licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, the United States District Court for the Districts of New Jersey and Southern District of New York, and the United States Supreme Court.
