Michael McBride, Chair of Connell Foley's Construction Law Group and the firm's former Managing Partner, was honored by the Newark Public Library at their "Booked for the Evening" Annual Benefit on November 30, 2017.
The Newark Public Library serves as the cornerstone of civic life in Newark.The annual gala is the Library’s primary fundraising event and helps to raise much-needed funds that support the community programs and services that the Library is able to offer throughout the year.
Michael, who has provided pro bono legal counsel to the Library, was honored along with Michael Bright, President and CEO of YMCA of Newark and Vicinity, and Andaiye Taylor, Founder and Editor of Brick City Live. Also recognized were The Newark Public Library Affinity Groups: Friends of the Newark Public Library; Friends of Hispanic Research and Information Center; and Friends of James Brown African American Room.
