Connell Foley is extremely pleased to announce that Seton Hall Prep will dedicate the John B. Murray ’59 Field House at the SHP Kelly Athletic Facility in honor of our partner, John Murray. The dedication ceremony will take place Saturday, October 14, at 12:00 p.m.

John enjoyed a distinguished academic and athletic career at Seton Hall Prep. His dedication to his alma mater, however, has transcended his time there as a high school student. For the past 30 years, John has quietly and effectively served as the Chairman of its Board of Trustees. He, along with Monsignor Michael Kelly, has been instrumental in articulating and implementing a vision for Seton Hall Prep’s future.

To that end, John led the effort to relocate the Prep from its long-time home on the Seton Hall Campus in South Orange to its current location in West Orange. Twenty years ago, John helped acquire approximately 10 acres of prime real estate in West Orange on behalf of the Prep and spearheaded the plans and approvals necessary to develop a state-of-the-art athletic facility for the benefit of the Prep and surrounding community. The dedication of the John B. Murray ’59 Field House marks a fitting culmination of his contributions and tireless efforts.

To attend the dedication ceremony, please use the driveway entrance at:
