Connell Foley Employees Participated in Firm's First Silent Auction to Raise Money for the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games

On Thursday, June 7th Connell Foley employees participated our first silent auction in the Roseland office, to help raise money for the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games.

We asked all employees to consider participating by donating a talent, service or basket to the Auction and over the next several weeks we were able to collect 52 baskets/items to auction off!

Including:

  • Autographed puck and photos from the New Jersey Devils (Donated by the NJ Devils)
  • Laser facsimile 2012 NY Jets Team signed football (Donated by the Jets)
  • 2 tickets to the Colbert Report and a signed copy of Stephen Colbert's new book
  • A Swarovski necklace
  • A hand-knit baby sweater
  • A Lia Sophia bracelet
  • One-of-a-kind, handmade earrings
  • A beautiful crocheted hat and 2 scarves
  • A Handmade terracotta sculpture
  • A Basket of cheer with wine, cheese, a cheese board, appetizer plates and other goodies
  • Consultation and six month health coaching program
  • Best of Jersey City - Restaurant gift cards and various JC items
  • Homemade wine and gift certificate to wine making
  • Basket of gift cards to local eateries including Frank's Pizza, Dunkin Donuts, Panera, etc.
  • Basket of coffee and mugs
  • Kids games and other items
  • iPod nano
  • Signed and framed photo of famed, Boston Red Sox player Ted Williams
  • Signed and framed photo of Brett Favre
  • Free day of house painting
  • Basket of goodies and gift card from Calandra's
  • Basket of homemade soaps
  • Tool tote and home depot gift card

With the support and generosity of our employees we were able to raise $4,515!  And we had a great time doing it!

We are so pleased to be able to make this contribution to the Special Olympics.
