ROSELAND, N.J./December 27, 2007 -- Jodi Anne Hudson will begin her term as President of the Seton Hall University School of Law Alumni Council on January 1, 2008. Ms. Hudson is a 1996 graduate of the Law School and was named President-Elect of the Alumni Council in January, 2007.

The Council works with the Alumni Relations Office at Seton Hall Law School to plan events such as the Red Mass, and the annual dinner dance and golf outing which raise funds for the school. The Alumni Council also provides support for the Annual Fund and other fundraising endeavors. In addition, its members provide career counseling to students and represent the school at events such as the Admissions Open House.

Reflecting on her plans for her term, Ms. Hudson explained, "My goal is to increase alumni participation, whether it be at a local Seton Hall basketball game, social event, fundraising event, or charity event."  Ms. Hudson has remained an active alumna since her graduation in 1996 by serving as an adjunct professor and Director of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board as well as a member of the Alumni Council.
