The treatise is published by ALM Properties, Inc., a noted legal publisher whose products include the New Jersey Law Journal. Mr. Kenny is a key member of the Insurance Law practice group, and a long time Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a Life Fellow of the American Bar Association. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Rutgers University School of Law−Newark and has written and lectured extensively on litigation practice and insurance coverage law. Mr. Kenny has also served on the Council of the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section and on the ABA Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary. He is a former Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and a former President of the Essex County Bar Association. Mr. Kenny has served on the editorial board of the New Jersey Law Journal for more than twenty years. He is also co-author of the chapter on damages in Law and Practice of Insurance Coverage Litigation, published by West Group. He was recently invited to lecture on insurance coverage at the New Jersey Judicial College.
Mr. Kenny, who has tried more than 400 cases to conclusion and briefed or argued almost 100 reported Appellate Division and Supreme Court cases, is recognized as one of the premier litigation specialists in New Jersey. He has been a certified civil trial attorney since the initial certification procedure was instituted in the early 1980s.
Mr. Kenny has represented clients in a broad range of civil litigation, including tort liability, insurance coverage, product liability, medical and professional malpractice, governmental liability, construction defect, and employment law in both state and federal courts.
