ROSELAND, N.J./May 05, 2008 -- Patrick McAuley was profiled in the annual "Meet the Real Estate Lawyers" feature of Real Estate New Jersey magazine (April 2008). The publication accepted more than one hundred nominations from real estate attorneys around the state and selected just over forty prominent real estate practitioners to profile in the piece.

Mr. McAuley's selection was based largely on his reputation as a real estate law and land use attorney focusing on redevelopment. Among his achievements in that regard was his representation of the owner of the site upon which the Allied Junction rail transfer station was constructed in Secaucus. In connection with Allied Junction, he negotiated the sale of the site together with the development and construction approvals required for the project which totaled approximately 3.7 million square feet. Mr. McAuley has also worked extensively with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority ("CRDA"), providing representation in a broad array of projects including infrastructure and roadway construction, retail and entertainment facilities of all types, hotel, housing, and other development projects.

In addition to his contributions to the Real Estate and Land Use practice at Connell Foley, Mr. McAuley is also an important member of the firm's Commercial Litigation, Corporate and Business Law, and Environmental Law practice groups. Kevin Coakley, Chairman of the firm's Executive Committee and Chair of its Real Estate Law and Land Use practice group, said, "I have had the privilege of working with Rick for many years and have witnessed first-hand his dedication to his clients and to redevelopment in the State of New Jersey. On behalf of Connell Foley, I join Real Estate New Jersey in recognizing Rick's important contributions."
