ROSELAND, N.J./April 19, 2007 -- Patrick J. McAuley was featured in the April 2007 issue of Real Estate New Jersey. The issue’s cover story, “Meet the Lawyers,” profiled some of New Jersey’s leading attorneys who commented on a number of the state’s key real estate issues.

McAuley discussed restrictions on the use of eminent domain and how it impacts New Jersey. “Eminent domain is critical to the acquisition of parcels for commercial redevelopment,” said McAuley, “because property owners otherwise will refuse to sell for fair market value and hold out for exorbitant prices.”

With his practice focused on real estate law and land use, McAuley has developed a reputation for his expertise in the law of condemnation. He has a highly respected practice providing counsel on a range of issues, including acquisition and sale of properties, negotiating regulatory issues, redevelopment, and obtaining zoning and planning approvals.
