We are very pleased to announce that Tom Wester has been selected as the “Young Irishman of the Year” by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Oranges.

The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, founded in 1900, is a men’s organization dedicated to the remembrance of Irish heritage.  They hold an annual dinner to honor a young Irishman, and to present a speaker of Irish heritage.  This year’s dinner will take place at Mayfair Farms on March 16, 2017, and will feature guest speaker Philip Murphy, former U.S. Ambassador to Germany.

The first honoree of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Oranges was former Governor Brendan T. Byrne.  Former honorees from Connell Foley include Adrian Foley (1956) and Ken Kunzman (1972).  Honored guests attending this year’s dinner include the newest Archbishop of Newark, His Eminence, Cardinal Joseph Tobin.

Please click here for a copy of the invitation and RSVP card. Note that registrations are requested by March 1.
