Thomas Vecchio and Olivia Cleaver authored the article "The Event Horizon: NJ to Take on Out-of-Network Fees in 2016" for the January 11, 2016 issue of the New Jersey Law Journal. The article discusses the increase in litigation surrounding fees charged by out-of-network providers and reviews proposed legislation aimed at increasing transparency in pricing for health care services, and creating a state-wide database for health care data derived from payers, providers and other reporting entities, in order to inform health policy initiatives such as cost containment and quality improvement efforts.
