Vitiello Presents on Complex Gift Tax Return Preparation at American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Conference(Jan 2010)

ROSELAND, N.J./January 20, 2010 -- Connell Foley partner Anthony F. Vitiello delivered a presentation titled “Are you Prepared to Prepare the Complex Gift Tax Return?” at the AICPA Advanced Personal Financial Planning Conference held on January 17-20, 2010, at  Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

Vitiello’s session focused on the preparation and technical presentation of gift tax returns involving complex estate planning transactions, including personal residence trusts, limited partnership transactions, grantor retained annuity trust transactions, and other technical issues. Some discussion of defending a gift tax return audit was also covered.

Vitiello is the chairman of the Taxation and Estate Planning group at Connell Foley LLP. His practice is limited to tax planning for individuals, businesses, estates, and trusts, with particular emphasis on estate planning and asset protection planning. Vitiello brings his innovative expertise to planning estates of sizeable magnitude, as well as advising family foundations, closely held corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies on significant tax issues.
