Connell Foley partner Peter Smith is quoted in the May 2024 issue of New Jersey Business Magazine in an article titled “Avenues of Alternative Dispute Resolution.” The piece explains the advantages of resolving a dispute via arbitration or mediation as opposed to litigation.
Peter told the publication: “Mediation is available [at any time], whether the ultimate dispute resolution form is arbitration, or whether the dispute resolution forum is left to our judicial system—and by that, I mean [mediation is available] even before an arbitration demand is filed, and at any point up until and through a court proceeding.”
