Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity, Data Privacy and Incident Response Group, is quoted in The American Lawyer article "Cyberattacks 'Inevitable' for Law Firms, Highlighting Need for Comprehensive Incident Response Plans" (published January 10, 2023).
In the article, Karen talks about comprehensive, holistic incident response plans, the pros and cons of cloud data storage, which makes data more easily accessible and helps isolate it from damaged or hacked servers or hardware, but comes with some disadvantages and the dangers of unmonitored personal employee devices.
