Neil S. Dornbaum and Kathleen Peregoy, Co-chairs of the Immigration and Global Mobility practice at Connell Foley LLP, are presenting ”Ever-Changing Employment Terms and the Impact on Hiring Foreign National Employees” for the New Jersey Business and Industry Association’s (NJBIA) Human Resource Council Meeting, December 5, 2022.

During this virtual event, Neil and Kathleen will explain the importance of addressing “material changes” (as specified by USCIS regulations) to avoid and/or address potential problems (such as losing work status or delays in a promotion or other job changes) before they arise. They will discuss how to determine when you must file an amended petition to reflect changes in the rate of pay, hours and/or duties for a foreign national employee. They will also discuss how changes in the worksite to a related entity, different office(s) or home office can impact underlying petitions.

This program will review:

  • Properly documenting changes in corporate ownership and structure;
  • Planning ahead for FDNS site visits; and
  • Developing best practices for documenting changes.

Please visit the NJBIA website to register for this event.
