Marianne Tolomeo, a partner in Connell Foley's Labor and Employment Group, will be presenting the CLE seminar"Restrictive Covenants and Non-Competes." The 60-minute program will address the enforceability of restrictive covenants under New Jersey law, including non-competition, non-solicitation and non-poaching agreements. Topics to be covered include the factors relevant to judicial enforcement of restrictive covenants: (1)  the employer’s  legitimate interest in enforcing the covenant; (2) the undue hardship to the employee if the covenants are enforced; (3) the impact on the public interest; and (4) whether the restrictions are reasonable in temporal and geographic scope.
