Michael McBride, Chair of Connell Foley's Construction Law Group, and Partner Mark Fleder will participate in a live video session on "Mitigating Risk in a COVID Era." With continuing concerns about the current and future state of the New Jersey construction industry in the COVID-19 pandemic and with the federal government seeking to pass a comprehensive infrastructure revitalization program, contractors are seeking clarity on how to recoup lost damages, chart a course for success, and prepare for what promises to be an extraordinary investment in the industry.

Topics that will be addressed during the session include:
     •  The Federal Infrastructure Bill and its effect on the national and New Jersey markets
     •  Proposed tax law changes
     •  Impacts on the industry from supply chain delays and shortages
     •  Effectively addressing contract claims

Joining Mike and Mark for the session will be Michael Hochman and William P. Hughes of Grassi Advisors & Accountants and special guest Jerry Keenan, President of NJ Alliance for Action.
