Saturday, April 27, 2019, Jersey City, New Jersey - Connell Foley associate Thomas Forrester led a team of colleagues and their family members as they volunteered this past weekend for Rebuilding Together Jersey City. Rebuilding Together is the leading organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the homes of low-income, elderly or disabled persons, or families with children, at no cost to them, so that they may live in warmth, safety and independence. For nearly two-decades, Connell Foley staff, attorneys, friends and family have proudly participated in Rebuilding Together Jersey City.

This year, and for the third year, the Connell Foley team spent their day at Mary’s Place, a former convent in the Greenville section of Jersey City that was converted into a boarding home for single women in transition. Our volunteers assisted with painting, clean-up, gardening and other tasks that will help brighten up the shelter.

Tom was instrumental in organizing the firm’s participation with Rebuilding Together Jersey City this year. Other volunteers who were on hand and working hard at Mary’s Place included Jennifer Bartolick, Joan Adams, Bria Beaufort, Marie Romanski, Patrick Conlon, as well as family members and friends.
