Connell Foley is pleased to announce that partner John Cromie, Chair of the firm's Corporate and Business Law practice and member of the Executive Committee, was elected by the Board of Directors of USLAW NETWORK, Inc. to serve as Vice Chair of the organization.

John has served on the USLAW Board of Directors for several years and on its Executive Committee since 2014. He has served as the Emerging Industries Director and most recently as Client Liaison Director. He is a past chair of the USLAW Commercial Law Practice Group, is a member of Banking & Financial Services Practice Group, and has been integral in the network's cross-border initiative.
John is an experienced business lawyer who represents entities ranging from Fortune 100 public companies to privately owned mid‑cap enterprises and startup ventures. He provides counsel on a wide range of real estate and financing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions; the purchase, sale, leasing and development of commercial real estate; and asset-based and real estate-based commercial loans and credit facilities. He often serves as outside general counsel to his clients, working with closely held businesses in a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, specialty chemical and health care.
