Connell Foley is pleased to announce that Meghan Musso was selected by the New Jersey Law Journal to the 2021 listing of "New Leaders of the Bar," the publication's annual recognition of New Jersey's top attorneys under the age of 40.

Meghan, who was recently elevated to partner at the firm, covers all aspects of litigation at the trial court and appellate level. She handles complex matters involving environmental liability, mass tort defense, product liability, insurance defense, and corporate and commercial disputes.

Among her successes, Meghan has served as national coordinating counsel for equipment manufacturers in asbestos litigation nationwide; represented entities in environmental disputes, including CERCLA, Spill Act, RCRA and private party environmental suits; defended a consumer products manufacturer in product liability litigation; helped obtain a favorable outcome for a large construction company in a federal court trial; served as counsel for premises owners, manufacturers, suppliers and contractors in toxic torts litigation; participated in several appeals at the state and federal court level; and participated in a Petition for Writ of Certiorari to the United States Supreme Court on a critical consumer law issue.

Despite the demands of her practice, Meghan devotes a substantial amount of time working with various non-profit organizations, with a particular focus on those entities dedicated to helping children.  She is a Board Member of Children’s Hope Initiative, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to funding the unmet needs of abused and neglected children in New Jersey. She also sits on the Advisory Board of FinPro, Inc. and is a member of the Board’s Charitable Giving Committee.
