Karen Painter Randall, Chair of Connell Foley's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Group, has been appointed as the Private Sector Liaison to the American Bar Association (ABA) Cybersecurity Legal Task Force. Karen previously served the two-term maximum as a member of the Cybersecurity Legal Task Force, a position to which she was appointed by the ABA president.
In her new role as the Private Sector Liaison to the Task Force, Karen will continue to support its efforts to raise awareness of cybersecurity as one of the most important challenges facing the nation and to help lawyers understand how to protect their practices and their clients’ confidential information. In her appointment letter, Karen is recognized for her contributions (past and future) to the Task Force and is expected to play an important role in its ongoing contributions in the area of cybersecurity.
