John Cromie, Chair of Connell Foley’s Corporate and Business Law Group, authored an article in USLAW Magazine's Spring 2022 issue entitled "Antitrust 2022: The Antitrust Paradox vs. The New Brandeisians."

John's article discusses the Executive Order on Promoting Competition, signed by President Biden on July 6, 2021. As John writes, this Executive Order sets in motion a plan for a more aggressive antitrust enforcement policy and reflects the Administration's belief that several industries in the U.S. have become too concentrated, allowing firms to exercise market power, depress wages and stifle competition.
