Judge Eugene J. Codey Jr. (P.J. CV, Retired), William T. McGloin, Partner and Stephen R. Turano, Associate at Connell Foley present “Ins and Outs of Mediation” seminar. This seminar will cover a variety of topics, issues and considerations regarding the mediation process.  Attendees will be provided with general information about what mediation is; a variety of reasons to choose mediation as the mechanism to facilitate a resolution of a claim or litigation; insight and direction for how prospective mediation participants can familiarize themselves with the mediation process and relevant law, considerations in selecting a mediator and understanding the specific mediation procedure.  As well as, provide an outlook into substantive and procedural considerations such as potential pitfalls that may arise, benefits of an unsuccessful mediation and the potential impact of mediation on court deadlines, with examples based on personal experiences.
